Trump Due To Meet With Companies

President Donald Trump has vowed to stop US manufacturing from disappearing overseas and will seek job-creation advice on Thursday from at least five different companies that are laying off hundreds and thousands of workers as they shift their production abroad. United Technologies Corp, General Electric Co, 3M Co, Dana Inc, and Caterpillar Inc, are working offshore to China, India, Mexico, and other countries according to a Reuters review of US Labor Department records. Executives from those five companies are among a group of business leaders due to meet with the president to discuss how to help Trump deliver on his promise to increase factory employment, according to the White House.
