Girls Basketball Won Senior Night Thriller Against Westwood 46-34!

There were handmade signs like “Tiger Hoops” and “Something To Prove” hung around at Stony Point. The senior recognition for the Stony Point senior players was when the senior players got recognized for their favorite basketball memories of this season, their efforts and what colleges they’d committed to. The Stony Point and Westwood teams warmed up for the game. The Star-Spangled Banner was played to bring patriotism to everyone at the game. The Stony Point and Westwood teams were introduced.

Stony Point scored 2 points to start the game. Stony Point and Westwood were trying to top each other, but Stony Point was the one topping Westwood. Stony Point was starting to be very good. Stony Point won the 1st quarter 7-1. After the 1st quarter ended, Stony Point and Westwood each had 4 fouls. Westwood scored 2 points to start the 2nd quarter. Westwood scored a 3-pointer. Westwood was catching up on Stony Point. Stony Point tried to get back on their feet. Luckily, Stony Point won the 2nd quarter 15-8. After the 2nd quarter ended, Stony Point had 5 fouls total, and Westwood made 8 fouls total for the 1st half.

There was a boy in a red and glittery gray jacket wearing a glittery gray glove doing a special dance to perform the halftime show during halftime. There was also a dance competition with judgmental cheers during halftime too. The song Uptown Funk was played.

Stony Point was still trying to keep the lead, and they still did. Stony Point won the 3rd quarter 29-18. After the 3rd quarter ended, Stony Point had 5 fouls, and Westwood had 9 fouls. Westwood scored 2 points to start the 4th quarter. Stony Point scored a 3-pointer. Stony Point was seriously hoping to win their senior night game. Stony Point was lucky to keep getting more extra point attempts. Stony Point won their Senior Night game against the Westwood Lady Warriors 46-34!
