Hi,my name is Ava Perlinger. I’m a sophomore at Stony Point Highschool,and this is my first year in newspaper. I’ve always enjoyed writing,it lets me get in touch with my creative side. My personal favorite has always been creative writing,I get to use my imagination to its full potential! Outside of writing,my passion for softball is greater than most.
I’ve been playing since I learned to walk,and I've been in love with the sport ever since. My passion comes from my mom,since she used to play when she was my age. Currently,I play for Illusions Gold CTX 16U Turnipseed,a club team based out of Central Texas. Other hobbies I have are drawing,gardening,reading,and baking. I’m hoping in the near future,I will be lucky enough to continue my softball career in college and become a D1 athlete. My dream colleges would have to be Oregon,UCLA,FSU,or Tarleton. I’d love to get a degree in Nursing. I’d preferably want to be a pediatric nurse,but I've recently been looking into an English major.
