Rachel Boone, reporter
Hi, I’m Rachel. I started writing as a freshman, at a time when I wasn’t sure what any of my interests or passions were. I was afraid of judgement, confrontation and social interaction, so I’m not sure why I picked journalism of all things as a hobby (but I’m glad I did). Since freshman year, I’ve been able to develop my own voice and writing style, as well as find my place in the dysfunctional family that is the Prowler staff. I’m pretty well-versed in entertainment writing, and I focus a lot of my stories around music. Outside of writing, I enjoy petting other people’s dogs, Cheetos, oxford commas, and taking naps.
