Pasadena Crash: SH-225 Westbound Cleared After 18-Wheeler Incident
PASADENA, Texas — All westbound lanes of State Highway 225 at Bearle have reopened after a significant crash involving an 18-wheeler temporarily shut down traffic on Thursday afternoon.
According to Lt. Terry Garza of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the incident prompted a full closure of SH-225 westbound as emergency crews, including a hazardous materials (hazmat) team, worked swiftly to clean up the scene. Pasadena police also responded and assisted in managing the situation.

Though specific details about the cause of the crash have not yet been released, officials confirmed the involvement of a large commercial truck. It remains unclear whether anyone sustained injuries in the collision.
By 1:20 p.m., Houston TranStar traffic cameras confirmed that all westbound lanes had reopened to drivers, easing congestion in the area.
