Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray to Rock Baytown on July 4th
BAYTOWN, Texas — Baytown’s Independence Day festivities are getting a major dose of ’90s rock nostalgia as Mark McGrath, lead vocalist of Sugar Ray, heads to the Houston area for a high-energy performance on July 4.
McGrath will be joined by fellow chart-topping frontmen Emerson Hart of Tonic and Kevin Griffin of Better Than Ezra as part of their collaborative supergroup, Ezra Ray Hart. The trio is set to headline Baytown’s 4th of July Celebration at Bicentennial Park, one of the region’s largest and most anticipated holiday events.

Concertgoers can expect a lively set filled with the bands’ biggest hits, including Sugar Ray’s laid-back anthem “Fly,” Tonic’s heartfelt “If You Could Only See,” and Better Than Ezra’s alternative hit “Good.” According to event organizers, the band will perform a dynamic mix of fan favorites from each of their catalogs.

In addition to live music, the celebration will include family-friendly activities, food trucks, and local artisan vendors. Best of all, the event is completely free, open to the public, and suitable for all ages.
Parking & Accessibility:
Free public parking will be available at Lee College, IMPACT High School, the Baytown Library, and the Eddie V. Gray Wetlands Education and Recreation Center. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to find parking and secure a good spot for the performances and fireworks.
